As the hospitals and healthcare workers there have been overrun with COVID-19 cases and deaths, the Italian government has placed more and more restrictions on people's movement outside the home. Now that the northern part of the country has passed its peak in cases, the concern is being directed towards the south where the country is generally poorer with less access to good healthcare.
